The perfect little gift

There is no better gift than food right!? That's what I thought.
So i decided to make some cookie dough balls, pack them in a cute jar and give them as a gift. That way the receiver can cook them fresh whenever they like (they can be frozen to so the dough lasts longer.)
The recipe is simple and any extra ingredients (either dried fruit or different types of chocolate) can be added.

Definitely give these a try, when cooked into cookies they are delicious. Here's the recipe:

200g Unsalted butter
300g caster sugar
275g self raising flour
75g cocoa powder
1 large egg
splash of milk
1 bar of milk, white or dark chocolate (dried fruits can also be added)

Mix the sugar, butter and egg into a bowl.
Slowly add the flour through.
Then add the cocoa powder. If you feel the mixture is to dry then add a splash of milk.
You can then add your chocolate or dried fruits to the mix.

Now take small amounts of the dough and roll into balls. Place in the jar and you are ready to give your gift.
