Afternoon tea at Fortnum and Mason

Hi guys. I'm back and I've got a lot to blog about. Starting with Afternoon tea at Fortnum and Mason.

Wow was this a treat. Piano playing in the background, polite waiters and amazing tea and cake selection. The main tea room was gorgeous- blue and white with hints of silver. The atmosphere was great, not pretentious at all (which is always a factor that can make or break something for me.)

If you're thinking whether or not to book when in London- do it! Its such a wonderful experience and you are never felt rushed.

Here are some snaps from the day, enjoy!

My Choice from the tea selection was Chai.

Amazing selection.

Fortnum and Mason's own jam, lemon curd and clotted cream- delicious with the scones.

My jam packed scone.

Rose eclair.

Gifted with tea to take away at the end.

Hope you guys enjoyed. Will be blogging much more now... Promise x

My week in food #5

Hi guys, another food fatty week for me :)
Lets cut the small talk and go straight to the goods. Enjoy...

Wagamama- chicken katsu curry, always my favourite.

Noodle time- my homemade 'Pad Thai'. Glass noodles, prawns, one egg, soy sauce, fish sauce, Pad Thai sauce and coriander to finish.

Daily treats- My mum's homemade apple and sultana cupcakes. I had these everyday.

Snack time- my dads fish salad. Makarel, rocket, avocado, salad leaves and a touch of mayo and lemon.

Lunch- I'm on a slight (just a slight) health kick. Tomato soup is a daily occurance to.

Beef Rendang- Beef Rendang combo at the banana tree. More on this meal on my next blog post.

And the boyfriend had the duck combo.

Coriander meatballs- Probably my favourite starter .

Roast pork starter at banana tree.

Chicken dinner- Chinese chicken curry and rice. Yum!

Hope you guys enjoyed :)

See you next time x

Where to eat in London? Brunch at the breakfast club

Hello!
I went out for a lovely brunch the other day so thought I would share my photos and thoughts with you guys.
The Breakfast Club chain is well known in London and with good reason. I had been once before and my experience was amazing both times.

I visited the one on D'Ardblay street. The staff are efficient, down to earth and always have a smile on their faces. The menu is full of choice and would definitely entice you to come back for more. Everything about the place is relaxed yet buzzing and an overall great place in central London for breakfast, brunch or dinner.
There is sometimes a 5-10 minutes wait but this can only be seen as a good thing.

Here are a few snaps of the inside and what I ate:

Fried potatoes-  delicious with a hint of rosemary.
Eggs Royale- Toasted English muffin, smoked salmon, poached eggs, and hollandaise sauce
Pancakes and Berries- AMAZING!! Pancakes, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, maple syrup and tasty vanilla cream.
International visitors- postcards, pictures and random notes stuck up by customers from all over the world.

Smoothie time- Green is good and Pommy granny. Mine was Pommy granny and I would definitely recommend it. It's made with pomegranate, raspberries, blueberries, apple and ginger. Absolutely delicious!

The all American- Pancakes, fried potatoes, crispy bacon, sausage and poached eggs. The pancakes were thick, sweet and I'm gonna say it again AMAZING! After this picture was taken I also poured A LOT of maple syrup over them. I loved the combination of sweet and savory of this dish.
